Science is a systematic body of knowledge in search for the general truth. And a month of searching for this truth is undoubtable to fun and excitement.
Science Month is celebrated every September. This year's theme, Metabolize: Nourishing the Filipino Youth towards National Well Being, aims to nurture students' scientific ability and expose them to such activities to learn various science concepts.
A lot of activities await to students. Activities that will expose students to science and its wide fields. It is up to us to handle informations and learn new things. Discover the unkown. Prove and improve. Explain the unexplainable. And continue to learn. For science is fun. But science is not just for fun.

World Heritage Cities Solidarity Day
No one can deny that Vigan is truly a place of history and culture. A preserve site of heritage structure. With solidarity and its continuity to nurture.
In Vigan this special day is actually commemorated with week-long festivities aimed at strengthening pride in the history and culture of Vigan. This aim is in keeping with the long-term goal of preserving the 630 heritage structures that date back from the 18th and 19th century. Vigan’s well-preserved Spanish trading town environment has survived the test of time, including bombings during World War II which leveled the major Philippine cities of Baguio, Cebu and Manila.
The day of Solidarity is a great celebration in which can help the latest generation learn about the history of these world heritage cities. It is a fun celebration. And as part of the latest generation, are you willing to embrace the culture and preserve these heritage sites for the succeeding generations to come? Let us take part to the yearly celebration of World Heritage Cities Solidarity Day. Be proud.

The HSM platform is a key of achieving the DepEd Region 1 vision of having a generation of responsive and cross-culture competent future builders.
As a student, this
movement can help us to freely express ourselves and enjoy learning
effectively. This help students to loosen up in school and not to think of
schoolwork as burden. Through this movement, the learners’ full potential is
given the greatest attention by creating a happier and more positive school
culture. The movement aims to inculcate in the minds of pupils that school is
not just a place for learning but also a place for fun and enjoyment as they
enjoy what they are doing.
Indeed, happy schools movement makes a happy student.
